The liberalization of the economies of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe became the foundation of systemic transformations, the result of which was the influx of foreign capital into regional markets.

Thanks to open borders and low labor costs, the Republic of Poland has become a center of attraction and attention for investors from all over the world.

For a large foreign businessman, this state can offer a large market, ideal logistics and a good geographical location. Poland is literally located in the very heart of Europe and has a huge transit potential.

International routes pass through it:

• Helsinki – Tallinn – Riga – Warsaw/Gdansk.

• Berlin/Dresden – Wroclaw – Katowice – Krakow – Rzeszow – Lvov – Kyiv.

• Gdansk – Grudziadz – Torun – Lodz – Katowice – Zilina – Ostrava.

In addition to roads, Poland can offer an air, maritime and rail infrastructure that is being actively developed by the government.

Today, this state adequately plays the role of a logistics hub in the European Union. The special place of its infrastructure on the logistics map of Europe is confirmed by the construction of the Central Port and participation in the international Chinese project – “One Belt – One Road”.

In general, the investment potential is very high. The domestic market covers 38 million consumers plus another 500 million from the European Union.

In terms of investments, the Republic of Poland confidently ranks third in the EU. Thanks to stable finances and a stable political system, the economy has managed to withstand the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and not lose a positive trend in capital inflows.

According to the survey “Investment climate in Poland” conducted by the Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), the business climate remains good.

The main findings of this study:

✅About 94% of all surveyed foreign businessmen again wanted to invest in Polish projects.

✅Lenders rate the investment climate in the country at 3.7 points out of 5 – the highest in the history of surveys.

✅According to company owners, the main advantages of Poland are the size of the domestic market and economic stability.

✅ The disadvantages include: ambiguous interpretation of some legal norms, low efficiency of arbitration courts and bureaucracy in the taxation system.

Investment attractiveness is determined by the optimal combination of the above factors that create a favorable environment for the investor. This allows entrepreneurs to reduce capital and operating costs, as well as significantly increase the efficiency of their business.
